Founded with a passion for exploration and a love for sharing hidden gems, Sandtastic Travels is more than just a travel blog—it’s a community for adventurers, wanderers, and those who dream of discovering the world’s most incredible places. Our original focus was sharing our Adventure Travel Videos with the world, now we created this website to write amazing blogs about these locations as well, so we can share even more details about these amazing places. We love taking photos, and they don’t always make it into our Videos on YouTube, but we love to share these pictures in our blog posts!

Our Story

We are a travel couple who live in the Pacific Northwest, just outside of Seattle Washington. We have full-time careers, family, and a life here in Washington. It all began with a simple love for travel. Based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, we’ve spent years traveling, taking photos and videos that were eventually transferred from one phone to another, then stored on a drive somewhere or on the cloud. Then if you want to see that time you went to ________ or did ________  you would have to go try to sift through hundreds if not thousands of photos and videos to find the moment or memory you are looking for.  One day when we were sitting at home during Covid Lockdown watching YouTube Videos about different travel locations that were created by just regular people. I remember saying to Sandtastic (The Wife) “I can do this; I can make videos like this about our travels.”  So, after discussing it a further, we thought to ourselves, we should start making videos of our travels to share with the world and but also to save our travel adventures and memories for ourselves so we can see the places we traveled.  Out of this thought, Sandtastic Travels was born.

And off we went, from the bustling streets of Las Vegas to the serene shores of Maui, and from the iconic landmarks of Seattle to the lesser-known gems of Washington state all the way to Atlantis Bahamas. Along the way, we’ve stayed in luxurious hotels, embarked on epic road trips, wandered through historic downtowns, and sailed across crystal-clear waters—all while capturing every moment to share with you.

As avid travelers, we noticed a gap in the travel content world—some so many amazing destinations and experiences weren’t getting the attention they deserved. That’s why we created Sandtastic Travels, to fill that gap by providing in-depth, authentic travel guides, videos, and tips that help you get the most out of your adventures.
